Mimic
Completed in May 2015, Mimic is one of the most comfortable and well-appointed budget liveaboards operating in Komodo. Also unlike many boats here we limit the number of guests onboard to a maximum of 6 people, ensuring personal service for all our diving and snorkeling guests. Not only does this give our guests more space onboard to relax but it also allows them to enjoy diving and snorkeling at Komodo’s amazing dive sites in small groups for extra safety.
ON BOARD
On liveaboard trips the upper deck is converted to a sleeping area with comfortable mattresses, pillows, blankets and is of course covered to protect you from the elements. It’s very comfortable but also gives a feeling of being on an adventure, which you are!
Onboard we have a spacious dive deck, multiple areas to relax with comfortable bean bags and mattresses, and toilet with freshwater shower. Your onboard chef will prepare delicious meals four times per day (lunch is the first meal on the day of departure and the last meal on the day of return). Fresh water, tea and coffee are always available. There are charging points for electrical devices and ice cold sodas and beers for after diving. We also carry a kayak onboard for our guests to use to explore the white sand beaches and mangroves alone at suitable locations.

Whether you are diving, snorkeling or exploring the islands looking for the famous Komodo Dragons, Komodo will not disappoint. With stunning scenery both above and below the surface, this truly is a paradise for adventurous travelers.
SAFETY & EQUIPMENT
We take safety very seriously and all of our dive equipment is regularly serviced, and comes from reputable brands such as Mares, Aqua Lung and Apeks. We also limit group sizes to maximum 4 divers per group (often less), and dive sites are carefully chosen to suit each divers ability.
On each trip there are a minimum of two crew members with EFR training for emergencies, and Mimic is equipped with modern safety equipment.

DIVING & ITINERARIES
All our dive staff have thousands of dives in Komodo under their belts and know Komodo and its currents very well, so regardless of your experience level you can be sure that we will choose dive sites and times suitable for your experience level.
Itineraries for each trip vary depending on local tides and conditions, the seasonal changes that affect Komodo, and of course to avoid the crowds. We always try to dive the popular sites outside the times when day trip boats are around. We want to see fish, not divers, right?!
You can rest assured that we will try to show you the best diving Komodo has to offer, whatever the season, in the safest conditions.
